Bertha Lena Harris, 84, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away October 8, 2019. She was born February 18, 1935, in Hot Springs to Orba and Sarah (Avant) Rowland. Bertha was a member of Leonard Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy Rowland; sister, Evelyn George; and step-mother, Mayola Rowland.
Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Lonnie O. Harris of Hot Springs; daughters, Lonette Welch (Ted) of Benton, Sharon Harris of Hot Springs; brothers, Buddy Black (Laverne) of Hot Springs, Alfred Black (Pat) of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Nakia Welch; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers include Larry Johnson, Terry Johnson, Ricky Phillips, Walter Wright, Chris Wright, Andy Worley, and Andy Worley Jr.
