James Theodore “Ted” Hogan, age 71 of Crow, WV passed away on Tuesday
July 14, 2015 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born on January 6, 1944 in Crow, he was the son of the late William “Bill” Hogan and Hazel Bennett Hogan.
Ted was retired from the WV Turnpike Commission as a maintenance employee. He was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the Crow Baptist Church. Ted enjoyed restoring mechanical equipment, hunting, fishing , and gardening.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Boyd and Charlie Hogan, and a sister Betty Crawford.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of 40 years, Brenda Graham Hogan; two sisters, Melba Pittman of Crow and Sarah Crum
and her husband Jim of Crow. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Friday July 17, 2015 at 1 PM with Pastor Dennis Burks officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley.
Friends may visit with the family from 11AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brogan, Gale Lane, Zack Lane, John Meadows, Justin Graham, and Tom Graham. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Graham and Randy Sharp.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crow Baptist Church for the purchase of Bibles in memory of Ted Hogan.
