Bobby Lee Vaughn was born on Wednesday, November 25th, 1964 in Tulsa, OK, the son of Larry and Theda Kaye (Catron) Vaughn Sr. He grew up with six brothers and sisters, attended school and graduated from Stilwell High school. He then began his basic studies at NSU in Tahlequah and completed his Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University Of Arkansas. He worked as a RN at WW Hastings Hospital. When he wasn’t working, he was the people he loved most in the world, his family. He loved them, and couldn’t wait to go outdoors, and swim, hike, ride motorcycles, fish, hunt or just chase each other around the yard. When they were in the house, it was fun and games, board games, video games, and listening to the Eagles and Kiss. He possessed an ornery streak, loved to pull pranks, and just be one of the kids. He was a genuine people person, give him five minutes and you felt you had known him all your life. He like to play the guitar, and just relax for awhile. Whenever his family had a chance to gather to gather, he was in the middle, having the best time he could. He was the proud father of four daughters, Terra, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Kaitlyn. They were his pride and joy and he was their biggest fan. He was a Christian by faith and attended several of the area Baptist churches. Bobby went home to his eternal home on Monday, October 7th, 2019 in Tahlequah, OK, He was 54 years old and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and Mary Tehee Vaughn-Leach, John and Norma Jean (Beaver) Catron, one sister, Angela Vaughn and one niece, Jelisa Sanchez.

Those he leaves to mourn his passing include his mother, Theda Kaye Catron-Hamilton and husband Allen of Stilwell, OK, his father, Larry Vaughn Sr. and wife Debrah of Muskogee, OK, and his four daughters, Terra Compton and husband Miles of Ft. Worth, TX, Elizabeth Vaughn of Tulsa, OK, Abigail Vaughn of Tulsa, OK, and Kaitlyn Vaughn of Tahlequah, OK.
