Leon Brown, age 83, of Elm Springs, entered eternal rest on October 6, 2019, at the Earlene Howard Circle of Life Hospice House.
He was born on September 26, 1936, in Grubbs, Arkansas, to O.W. and Bonnie (Wilbanks) Brown.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeneva Viola Brown; his twin sister; two brothers; and two sisters.

Leon was a U.S. army veteran. He attended Calvary Freewill Baptist Church as long as health allowed. He enjoyed gardening, spending days with his best friend (his chocolate lab, Bella), feeding the birds, watching the deer in his yard, being surrounded by his family and making memories with friends and loved ones.

He is survived by his daughter, Karla Taylor and husband Rex of Elm Springs; his son, Kevin Brown and wife Tonya of Stillwater, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren who affectionately called him “Greatpa.”

A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00am on Thursday, October 10, 2019, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church at 1000 N. Gutensohn Road, Springdale, AR 72762. Interment to follow at Elm Springs Cemetery.
