Kenneth Frances Meyers “Kenny or Ken” survived by his wife Patricia and children Bernadette and Brian Emery, Patrick and Cynthia Meyers, Nicolette and Joel Hernke, Timothy and Heidi Meyers, Jessica Hull and Matthew and Annie Meyers. Patty and Ken were married 60 years. Kenneth’s greatest love was his family with a wife he adored, children he was so very proud of, 19 amazing grandchildren, and 22 incredible great-grandchildren.

Those that knew Kenneth would describe him as a social butterfly with a deep jovial laugh. Although he struggled towards the end of his life, Kenneth would want everyone to remember him as the kind man that loves God and may have made your Subway sandwich at one time or another. He had a long life filled with the love of his family, strong faith, and willingness to lend a helping hand.

Kenneth started work at a very young age and dedicated 33 years to St. Paul Companies. He retired early to continue working throughout the community doing various jobs. Kenneth volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister, Confirmation Coordinator, religious education teacher, AARP tax volunteer, and his latest love for planting flowers. The hanging baskets throughout the City of Cannon Falls were planted by Kenneth. He would love to know that everyone was enjoying them as they thrive with beauty.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 11, at 11:00 am, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 410 W. Colvill, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 4-7:00 pm, at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will also be a visitation from 10-11:00 am on Friday at the church.
