It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of the most beautiful lady in our lives, Dana Dubois Guthrie, age 53. She has peacefully entered into Heaven.
Her unwavering battle with Leukemia came to an end on Tuesday, October 23, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones.
Dana was a 1983 graduate of ST. Edmund's High School. She received her master's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix at the age of 48.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 11:00 AM. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Thomas More Cemetery. Deacon TJ Richard will officiate.
At the request of the family visitation will begin on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice, and will reopen on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 8:00 AM until time of services.
A rosary will be prayed on Friday at 6:00 PM. Deacon TJ Richard will officiate.
Dana is survived by her husband of thirty years, Jesse Guthrie of Lafayette, La., her mother; Delores Dubois of Eunice, La., two sons; Lee Adam Dubois and wife Faith of Lafayette, La., Jesse Ray "Trey" Guthrie III of Lafayette, La., one daughter; Adrian Marie Foster and husband Jarath of Breaux Bridge, one brother; Chris Dubois and wife Missy of Eunice, La., one sister; Darla Olivier and husband Mark of Lake Charles, La., the seven loves of her life, her grandchildren, Madison, Kayley and Gabriella Dubois and Jazen, Jayla, Gage and Tenley Foster.
Dana is also survived by her nieces and nephews that she adored: Drake, Vivian, Ann Marie, Garrett and Wyatt Dubois, Peyton Olivier; aunt and uncle, Russell and Carolyn Fontenot; her godchildren, Chante Gros, Miranda Metrejean, Vivian Dubois and Peyton Olivier.
Dana was preceded in death by her father; Leewood Dubois.
