Patsy Ann Boyd, 79, of Jacksonville died Saturday, April 30, 2016. She was born January 14, 1937 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Dutch Herley and Louella Morton Herley Turner. Mrs. Boyd was a member of Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She loved to travel to south Texas with her husband, Jack, in their RV. She enjoyed cooking and fishing. She was an avid reader as well, and donated hundreds of handmade bookmarks to the local libraries. She spent the last 10 years being the caregiver to Jack, who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by a son, Dickie Boyd.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband, Jack Boyd, children; Craig Boyd (Becki), Sandra Robinson (Kenny), Susan McCorkle (Marty) and Vicky Teague (Steve), nine grandchildren; Russell Teague (Kacey), Chris Teague, Jessica Ward (Mitch), Braden Boyd, Spencer Robinson, Whitney Robinson, Sabrina McCorkle, Danielle McCorkle and Matthew Boyd and nine great-grandchildren; Caden Ward, Drake Ward, Adalyn Ward, Jackson Teague, Dylan Teague, Noah Teague, Jacob Mackie, Isaac McCorkle and Aubrey McCorkle.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home with burial following at Bayou Meto Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home (501)982-2136
