Marilyn Joanne Haralson Page, age 55, of Bolivar, Mo., passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at 9:57 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007, in the Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Mo. Marilyn was born November 27, 1951, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Ira Delton and Nellie LuCreta Wade. Her family moved to Bolivar, Mo., in 1961 where they owned and operated Wade's Supermarket. Marilyn was a 1969 graduate of Bolivar High School and was a member of the First Christian Church of Bolivar. Marilyn was a dedicated Director of Meetings and Expositions for the world wide Students In Free Enterprise organization. She loved her work and cherished her co-workers. She was a former floor-covering business owner and also worked for a number of years with the Polk County Health Center. Marilyn loved her children and was a devoted wife and mother. She will always be remembered for her radiant smile, caring and positive attitude. Her goal was to see the best in everyone and to help them achieve their dreams. Marilyn was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren and family. She will be greatly missed. On April 24, 1971, she was united in marriage to Ralph Charles Haralson and to this union three children were born. They were privileged to share 33 years of marriage. Ralph preceded her in death on March 27, 2004. Her father, Ira Delton Wade, also preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage to Gary Page on July 29, 2005, and together they shared two wonderful years. She is survived by her husband, Gary; two sons, Clint Haralson and wife, Lani, of Lebanon, Mo., and Adam Haralson of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter, Sharon Bradley of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren, Sean and Emma Haralson, G'ivonni and Aryanna Bradley; and her mother, LuCreta Wade of Bolivar. She is also survived by her sister Sherry Gezel and husband, John, of Burleson, Texas; her brother Kenneth Wade and wife, Sherrie, of Tulsa, Okla.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Butler Funeral Home Chapel of Bolivar. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Book officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar.
