Jeff Chandler of Lakeland, FL went into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, July 28th at the age of 46. Jeff was born on November 3, 1972 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Jeff grew up in his hometown of Washington, New Jersey, making fond memories and friends over the years, eventually moving to Florida to pursue his dream career.
Beloved husband and friend of 6 years to Vanessa Chandler (Parenti); son in law of Daniel and Rochelle Parenti; brother in law to Dante and Jillian Parenti; loving brother to Cheryl Berry (Chandler); brother in law to Stephen Berry; Uncle to nephews Stephen and John Berry; nephew of Raymond Meiner; cherished cousin to Kelly and Gretchen Meiner; and son of the late Allan and Evelyn Chandler (Meiner).
He was a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Jeff was self employed in real estate investing, home rehabilitation and renovation, and was a talented and skilled craftsman. Jeff’s clients highly praised his skill, work ethic, dedication, and joyful personality.
Jeff’s passion and love for history lead him to become a civil war re-enactor with the 2nd Florida Volunteers with his first event at Crystal River in 2010. He traveled with his fellow soldiers to many battlefields including Antietam, Maryland, and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Fate blessed Jeff at the Battle of Narcoossee Mill March 23, 2012, where he met his future wife and greatest life’s passion Vanessa “Molly” Chandler.
Jeff and Vanessa spent magical nights cruising in his red 1965’ Ford Falcon Wagon, and together they often won the 1st place checkered flag at the Saturday night Cruise in Old Town Kissimmee, Florida.
Jeff’s piercing blue eyes, infectious laugh, generosity, compassion, creativity and adventurous spirit will be missed. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.

“I am yours.
You are mine.
Of this we are certain.
You are lodged in my heart.
The small key is lost.
You must stay there forever.”
John 14:1-3 English Standard Version (ESV)
I Am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life
14 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God;[a] believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
