Sandy attended Yakima High School but was lured away from her small-time roots to the Pasadena Playhouse. There she indulged her passions of acting and singing. Although stardom escaped her, she spent her life singing, having been a Sweet Adeline for over 50 years.
Sandy worked throughout her life as a Customer Service Representative for many airlines, a great job for her as her greatest asset was being cheerful.
Sandy will be greatly missed by her partner Barbara McCormick's children Viki, Michael, Gayle and Kit, six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
A celebration will be held at the Sammamish Forest Manors Clubhouse on Sunday, February 24, at 1:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to Pasadena Playhouse Alumni Fund.
