Robert was born November, 15, 1938 in Madison County to his late parents, Howard and Kathleen Teague Swann.
Mr. Swann was a US Army Veteran and a retired dispatcher from Fredrickson Motor Express Corporation. Robert enjoyed farming and woodworking. He was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Swann.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Nina Fisher Swann; sons, Charles Swann (Sandy) and Bobby Swann (April); grandchildren: Brandon (Chelsea), Anthony (Aleigh), Matthew (Donna), Andrew (Brittanie); great grandchildren: Aarionna, Aaidan, Grayson, and Tucker; brother, Lance Swann (Elizabeth).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Pastor Woody Dillingham officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the funeral home.
Robert was wonderful Christian man and will be deeply missed.
