Ted enlisted in the Army Air Corps serving our country in the Pacific during World War II. He graduated from Lehigh University with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and from the University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in Physics. Ted had a long, productive career, working for Philco, Ford, and Lockheed. He was proud of his pioneering work in semiconductors and satellite engineering.
In retirement, Ted liked reading, helping out at church, working in the garden, and making wooden toys for his grandchildren. Ted is survived by Ruth, three sons, their wives Laura, Kathy, and Dale, three grandchildren, Jody, Ted III and Liz and two great grandchildren, Addison and Corbin. He was predeceased by his four brothers and one sister.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave., Santa Rosa.
