Thelma Lorraine Perkins, 85, passed away on Oct. 2, 2019, at her residence.
Born in Rahway, N.J., she was a lifelong resident. Thelma was an office assistant for Dr. Clarence Hill in Rahway for many years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Rahway for over 70 years.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Gail L. Major (Kenneth); son, Amos Johnson (Sheena); three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 378 East Milton Ave., Rahway.
Visiting hours will continue on Friday morning from 10 to 11 a.m., with the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, N.J. Arrangements are by the Jones Funeral Home, Rahway.
