Mrs. Grace Loretta "Bunnie" Patterson, 88, of Libertytown, MD, passed away, Monday, October 1, 2019 at the Northampton Nursing and Rehabilitation, Frederick, MD. She was the wife of the late Charles "Bubby" Patterson. Born September 3, 1931, in Libertytown, MD, to the late Arthur E. Waters and Martha Louise Butler Henry.
Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Strawbridge United Methodist Church, New Windsor. She retired from the Frederick County Board of Education.
Surviving Mrs. Patterson are one stepson, Robert Paige (Gene), Henderson, NV; two nieces, Barbara Ann Cherry (Stuart) and Nettie Chaney both of Baltimore, MD; three nephews, George Chaney, Baltimore, MD, Timothy Fossett, Union Bridge; Foster Butler, Jr., Suitland, MD; one special great-niece, Robin R. Cherry, Baltimore, MD; three great-nephews, George L.Cherry, Sr., Baltimore, MD, Michael V. Townes, Jr. and Martez Townes, both of Hagerstown, MD; one longtime friend, Dorothy "Muddie" Brown; two very special friends, Jay Whiteside and Bruce Harris, both of Libertytown, MD, and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy. in Frederick. Inurnment will follow in the Garden of Veterans.
