Jennie M. Wolford was born March 14, 1922, to John Wolford and Lillie Sims Wolford in Jasonville, Indiana.
She married Fred W. Lynn on March 11, 1939, and had three children, Cecil, David and Rick. She was a long-term resident of Anderson, and a retiree from Delco Remy. Jennie passed away on Oct. 1, 2019, at 97 years of age.
Jennie was preceded in death by her sister, Winifred Harden; half brother, Quince Wolford; and son, David Fred Lynn.
She is survived by daughter, Cecil Lynn McCormack; son, Rick J. Lynn; nieces, Pat Startzman, Sally Buchanan, Bunny Cowart; nephews, Garry Wolford, Tommy Marshall, Donnie Harden and Freddie Woods; grandchildren, Susan Foist and Doug McCormack; great-grandchildren, Sarah Lopez, Rachel Gillespie, Tommy Foist, Cassandra McCormack, Alicia McCormack and Sean McCormack; great-great-grandchildren, Parker Lopez and Elaina Gillespie.
Jennie loved her late dog "Molly," a Maltese. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and feeding the birds and squirrels. Jennie was a member of the Southern Heights Christian Church.
She was laid to rest at noon Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at a graveside service at Anderson Memorial Cemetery.
