Ida Eloise Adams, 91, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday morning, October 5, 2019 in a local hospital.
She was born on December 22, 1927 in Cartersville, GA a daughter of the Dominico & Stella Pollinzi. Ida was retired from American Uniform Company and later worked at Walmart as a door greeter.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Adams Jr., one son, Fred Adams, several siblings and two infant grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, four children and their spouses Harry J. Adams III "John" and Kathy, David Adams and Darlene, Jim Adams and Twyla and daughter Sherri Morgan and husband Eric, one sister, Geraldine Turmel of Houston, TX, 11 grandchildren including 2 special grandsons, Dale Adams and Christopher Adams and 1 special granddaughter, Tiffany Jackson, 6 great grandchildren and she was looking forward to meeting her first great great grandchild due to be born in a few months.
A celebration of her life is planned for Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home with the Reverend Ricky Vaughn and the Reverend Shane Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends two hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service in the Red Hill Cemetery.
