Jack Ray Lane, 67, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019, peacefully at home.

Jack was born on December 22, 1951, a son of the late Charles and Frieda (Ford) Lane. He graduated from Granville Wells High School in 1970. His favorite past time was going to his grandchildren’s sporting events, plays and musicals. He absolutely loved gardening, and also enjoyed going to Western Boone sporting events.

Survivors include his children: Christopher (Shanna Charron) Moss, Jason (Robyn) Lane and Melissa (Ryan) Hanson; step-son Bobby (Melissa) Hawkins; sisters: Barbara (Paul) Hurley and Rita (Larry) Padgett, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Janet Winters and Lela-Kay Boice.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, July 18, 2019 for a Celebration of life from 3pm until time of memorial service at 5:30pm at the Advance Community Christian Church, 2675 IN-75 Jamestown, IN 46147. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Advance Community Christian Church.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date and time.
