Thelma Lane Lee, 69, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH. Thelma loved playing bingo and listening to gospel music.
Thelma was born in Isaban, WV on February 11, 1950, daughter of the late Thomas C. Lee, Sr. (1913-1977), and Esther B. Estep-Lee (Deceased). In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Thomas "Tommy" C. Lee, Jr. (1931-Deceased), Donald R. Lee (Deceased), Larry E. Lee (Deceased), Jackie D. Lee (Deceased); and sisters, Nellie Jo Lee-Greenwood (Deceased), Carol Jean Lee-Newell (Deceased), and Helen Joyce Lee (Deceased).
She is survived by a daughter Esther Michelle Lee of Lucasville, OH; brothers, Leo D. Lee & wife Trudy Lee, Columbus, OH and Clinton B. Lee, Paoli, IN; one sister, Marylou Lee-Warf & husband Robert Wayne Warf of Columbus OH; grandsons, Thomas W. Lee, Sr., and Lamar A. Hampton, both of Columbus, OH; ten great grandchildren, Angel Lee, McKaylynn Lee, Magdelynn Lee, Maribelle Lee, Thomas W. Lee, Jr., Michael Browning, Lamar Cooper, Giovanni Hampton, Luccianno Hampton, Lillianna Bella Hampton; a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends; and her fur buddy Tuffy who was at her bedside at her passing.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert, WV., where funeral services will commence from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with Michael Ward officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Hollywood Cemetery Gilbert, WV.
