Elizabeth Leek of 107 Washington St. died Wednesday at 7:p.m. at the age of 80 years one month and 17 days. She was a life long resident of the county. Born August 8 1877 at Brazil Ia she is the daughter of John and Carrie Moden was a member of the Christ Church and the G.A.R. She and her husband celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary February 14th.Surving in addition to her husband are six children; Grace Astroth of Peoria Ill, Mrs Virginia Henderson of Kansas City MO,; Mrs Fern Haw of Streeter Ill,; Lester Leek Morton Ill,; Ulysses Leek Peoria Ill,; Carl Leek Centerville Ia. Two brothers, William Moden of Mystic, Elmer Moden Des Moines, and half brother Dave Thompson of Los Angles CA.
