Mr. Robert Emmett "Bob" Maddox, age 78 of Jackson, Georgia passed away October 5, 2019.

He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Emmett McAfee and Mary Haynes Maddox. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Chase Maddox and a sister, Pat Lorton. Bob faithfully served in the Army Reserves and was a member of Stark United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Bob Maddox Heating and Air for 39 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing cars and gambling. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Janet Johnson Maddox; sons, Ken (Kelly) Maddox of Griffin, Craig Maddox of Rex and Stephen (Ashley) Maddox of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Makenzie Maddox, Blaise Maddox and Hayden Maddox; great grandsons, Bradin and Bodie; siblings, Mary Jones of Stockbridge, Gale (Jack) McIntyre of Dacula and Chuck (Anna) Maddox of Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 - 11:00 AM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
