Obituary of Denise A. Clark
Lyons Falls – Denise A. Clark, 55, of Center Street, wife of Eugene passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford.



Denise was born on December 6, 1963 in Constableville, a daughter of Douglas J. and Wanda Mooney Felshaw. She grew up in Port Leyden and was educated at South Lewis Central School. She was married to Mark F. Austin for 17 years and this marriage blessed Denise with her four children. The couple later divorced. On June 22, 2002, Denise was united in marriage to Eugene R. Clark, at their home in Lyons Falls.



Denise enjoyed the outdoors, especially time spent camping at North Lake. Her pride and joy were her cherished grandchildren. She was an avid collector of M&M memorabilia.



Besides her husband Eugene, Denise is survived by her children: Jennifer Austin and her significant other Timothy Carman, Lyons Falls, Cory Austin, Florida, Nicholas Austin and his significant other Samantha Clark, Lyons Falls, and Lee (Charity) Austin, Port Leyden, nine grandchildren, her mother and step-father: Wanda (Bruce) Clark, Port Leyden, siblings: Janine (Carl) Mooney, Port Leyden, Wallace Denslow Jr.(Holly), Lyons Falls, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Tabitha (Samuel) Hartman, who was like a daughter to Denise, and special friends Lisa Turck, Teresa Rapave, and Kathy Smith. She was predeceased by her father Douglas J. Felshaw in 2010., maternal grandparents Carl and Marie Mooney, and paternal grandparents Donald and Grace Felshaw.



Her family wishes to thank Timothy Carman, Jennifer Austin, Samantha Clark, Kathleen Smith, and Lisa Turck for all of their help and dedication to Denise and her family.



A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 4:00 pm . All are invited to join her family at the 3-G Firehall on Blue St. in Glenfield following the services. Calling hours will be held from 2:00 until the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyons Falls Fire Dept. Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box #520, Lyons Falls, New York 13368.
