Mrs. Geneva Nola West King Doyle, age 84, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Doyle was born on February 26, 1935 in Loris, SC, to the late Lewis Thomas West and the late Gracie Estelle Goff West. Mrs. Doyle was a lifetime member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Carey A. King and his wife, Anna of Charleston, SC; her three grandchildren: Chad A. King and Brenda, Ashley King Miller and Daniel, and Sara King Beverly and Matthew all of Charleston, SC; her four great-grandchildren: Shelly King, Chelsea King, Kingston Miller and Annabelle Miller; one great-great-grandchild, Madeline King and her brother, John “J.T.” West and his wife, Versie of Loris, SC
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Doyle was predeceased by her first husband, James “George” Allen King; her second husband, Holland Leo “H. L.” Doyle; her son, Wayne Thomas King; her grandchild, Cody Alan King, and her two sisters, Vernise West Vaught and Myrtle W. Page.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2019 until time of service at 3:00 PM at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rory Thigpen officiating. Committal services will follow at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
