Eric DeWayne Morrison, 48, of Ratliff Cr Rd, Pikeville, KY. passed from this earthly life Friday Oct. 4, 2019 at the home of his step-daughter in Frankfort, KY.
Eric was born Tuesday Dec. 15, 1970 in Pike County, KY. a son of Orville Gene and Juanita (Caines) Morrison of Ratliff Cr Rd Pikeville, KY.
Eric was a retired Surveyor for McCoy Elkhorn Coal Co., a former Information Systems Manager for Commonwealth of Kentucky Office Of Technology and a member of the Meta Baptist Church of Meta, KY.
Other than his parents Eric is survived by his loving wife Melissa Faye (Ballinger) Morrison, two sons, Jonathan Morrison and his wife Hannah of Ashland, KY., Christopher Morrison and his wife Alexis of Springfield, KY., two step-daughters, Tristyn Lacy and her husband Tyler, McKenna Allison and her husband Dusty all of Frankfort, KY., two grandsons, Brayden Morrison, Easton Allison and one on the way..., one brother, Steve Morrison and his wife Jamie of Lexington, KY., four sisters, Lynne Ramey and her husband Dennis of Raccoon, KY., Kim Taylor and her husband Randall, Lisa Maynard and her husband Robert and Pam Mullins all of Pikeville, KY., a Special Sister Belvia Morton of Pikeville, KY., a host of nieces and nephews.
Eric DeWayne Morrison leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Eric will be sadly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
