Daniel D. Pepple of Martinsburg RD 1, died unexpectedly at 3:50 pm yesterday, April 21, 1971, in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.
He was born in Snakes Spring Valley, May 20, 1898, a son of James and Minerva (Kagarise) Pepple, and married Martha Keagy in Cumberland, Maryland, March 16, 1929.
Surviving are his wife, six children: Mrs. Anna Clouse and Mrs. Carol Bloom of Martinsburg, Glenn R. of Woodbury, Mrs. Marjorie Clouse of Fort Bliss Texas, Mrs. Bonnie Mock of Queen, and Gary L. at home, 13 grandchildren and seven sisters and a brother; Mrs. Effie Stoner, and Mrs. Elizabeth Shimer, of Woodbury, Mrs. Grace Sell of Martinsburg RD, Mrs. Susan Dunn and Mrs. Faye Carper of New Enterprise RD, Mrs. Helen Fisher of Manns Choice, and Paul of Roaring Spring RD.
Mr. Pepple was a retired farmer and gunsmith, and was known to his friends as "Tucker".
Friends will be received in the Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm tomorrow.
