SALEM — Patricia Sue Rhodes, 83 of Salem passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg.
She was born May 25, 1936 in Buffalo Creek, WV daughter of the late Harold Theodore Bennett and Winifred Jean West Bennett Ryan.
Patty graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1954. She had been employed by the Bureau of Public Health Department in Parkersburg, Ingersoll Rand and retired from the Small Business Administration in Clarksburg. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church and enjoyed, cooking, shopping and spending time with family.
Patty is survived by her son, Robert Rhodes II and Jan Holter; grandchildren, Jennifer Stevens and Todd, Rob Rhodes and Rachelle, Bethany Reiter and Nick and Howard Rhodes and Shawnna; great- grandchildren, Leann Lucas, Joe Stevens, Cain, Makenzie, Haley and Anthony Rhodes, Annabell and Augustus Reiter and nephew, Skip Weekley and Melody and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Childers.
Family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at Greathouse Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at K of P Cemetery.
