Erin Lea Taylor, age 36, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka. Erin was born Nov. 16, 1980 at Asbury Hospital in Salina. She attended schools in Chapman and graduated with the Class of 1999. She attended Emporia State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2003. In 2014 she completed her Master's degree in Education.

Erin was active in 4-H and enjoyed baking. She was an avid Kansas State Wildcat fan and Chicago Bears fan. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being an aunt to Lucas and Aloria and loved teaching her 5th grade Wear Bears.

Erin is survived by her parents, Bill and Debra Taylor, brother Dustin Taylor and wife Ashley, nephew Lucas Mojo Taylor and niece Aloria Moxie Taylor.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Londeen Funeral Chapel 206 W. 5th, Chapman, Kansas.

Funeral service will be Monday, Oct. 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Londeen Funeral Chapel followed by a private graveside service at 3:30 p.m. in Salina. Pastor Sara Anne Hayden will officiate.

Students and special friends may donate a book in Erin's memory at Londeen Funeral Chapel.
