"Funeral services for Luverna Marie Hauschild, 92, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Mo. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Gladstone, Mo. Mrs. Hauschild died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.
She was born March 24, 1914, near Spencer, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Mabel Eichhorn Dobricka. She graduated as salutatorian from high school in Breckenridge, Minn. Mrs. Hauschild worked as a secretary and retired from Central Soya in North Kansas City, Mo., in 1979. She married Wallace David Hauschild on July 3, 1938. He died in 2004.
Survivors include three sons, Wallace D. Hauschild Jr., Abilene, Texas, Wayne T. Hauschild, Lawrence, and Warren P. Hauschild, Leavenworth; a sister, June Edwards, Wahpeton, N.D.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren." The Kansas City Star, January 17, 2007
