Myrtle Frady Silver, 70, of Marion, died Thursday, March 22, 2001 at The McDowell Hospital.
Born in McDowell County to the late Charles Hicks Frady and Estelle Laughter Frady, she was retired from Tultex and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Silver and son, James Ralph Silver, Jr.
Survivors include: three sons: Donald R. "Butch" Silver and Boyce Dean Silver, both of Marion and Troy L. Silver, of Rutherfordton; a daughter, Sarah Teal Morgan, of Nebo; four sisters: Blanche Romine and Bonnie Wilson, both of Marion, Nell Stafford of Hickory and Ruby McMahan of Burnsville; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Burial was in McDowell Memorial Park.
