On 14 May 1793, Robert Dunlap, Jr. married Martha B "Patsy" Graham, the daughter of John Graham, in Augusta Co., Virginia. Their son Charles Alexander Dunlap, was also buried here.

A petition will be presented to the next General Assembly of Virginia, praying that the precinct election now held at the House of Robert Dunlap, in Augusta County, be changed to Deerfield, in said county. Nov. 14. 1839." Published in the Staunton Spectator, and General Advertiser, dated 19 Dec 1839.
On the 1850 Dist. 2, Augusta Co., Virginia census, I found farmer Robert Dunlap, 78; farmer Charles A Dunlap, 33; farmer James Bailey, 20; Nancy Templeton, 53 and Margaret Templeton, 23, all Virginia born. Note: Margaret Templeton, born 31 Jan 1826, the "daughter of Rev. Alex and Nancy G.Templeton," is also buried here.
