Paul Theodore Lowe, 87, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.
He was born on July 18, 1932 in Binghamton, one of nine children of the late Paul S. and Evelyn (Haynes) Lowe.
He worked as an LP gas and oil delivery man for many years for Wadsworth & Sons, Agway, and Suburban Propane. He retired from Mead in 1995.
On July 20, 1960, Paul was married to Sara Shaver in Sidney. They shared 59 happy years of marriage, including many summers on Oneida Lake as longtime members of the Sidney Boat Club.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and old trains. He also loved his cats.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Sara;
four children:
Pixie (Darrell) Youngs,
Andrew (Debbie) Lowe,
Bonnie Lowe and
Steven (Cheryl) Lowe;
10 grandchildren;
sisters: Betty Williams, Marion Weeks, Marie Luce and Barbara Woods;
brothers: William, John and Duane Lowe;
as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his son, Paul Lowe, Jr., and by his sister, Ethel.
Friends may call from 12:00noon to 2:00pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm at the funeral chapel.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla.
