Ella “Mae” Miller, 90, of Franklin died on October 1, 2019, at the Collins House, Franklin.

Born November 22, 1928, in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Ethel P. Kerr Seber.

She was married on December 31, 1945, to the love of her life, Harry B. Miller, and they celebrated 69 years of marriage on December 31, 2014. He preceded her in death on January 26, 2015.

She was a graduate of Franklin High School in the class of 1946.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Albright Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women.

She enjoyed her computer, playing cards, and extensive traveling with her husband. She and her husband spent 15 winters on Pine Island in Florida.

She was a former employee of Jamesway and retired from PennDot in 1991 after 21 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter Susan and her husband Robert Blauser, of Franklin, a son Mark and his wife Susan of Hermitage and four grandchildren, Julia Hanning and husband Brian of Columbus, Ohio, Andrew Blauser of Canonsburg, PA, Dr. John Miller and his wife Dr.Yan Miller of San Rafael, California and Jennifer Wadrose and husband Matthew of Hermitage, 3 great grandsons, Trenton Greenlee of Columbus, Lucas Miller of San Rafael, Daniel Wadrose of Hermitage and three great granddaughters, Cierra Vallieres and Skylar Hanning of Columbus, Ohio and Norah Wadrose of Hermitage and a special nephew, James Cross and wife Lois and a special niece Peggy Atts and husband Ed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and George Cross.

Funeral arrangement have been entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 312 W. Park Street, Franklin where family and friends may call from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Monday, October 7 and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Sam Wagner pastor of Christ United Methodist Church officiating. Lunch to follow at the Christ United Methodist Church, 1135 Buffalo Street, Franklin.

Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
