Terry L. Townsend, age 68, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 10:45 p.m. at his residence.

He was born on Aug. 10, 1946, in Darke County, Ohio, to Marjorie (Beanblossom) Townsend of Greenville and the late Bill Townsend.

Terry enjoyed woodworking, yard work and reading his Bible. He was a member of the United States Air Force and retired from Fram after over 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Grote) Townsend of Celina, Ohio, whom he married on Jan. 24, 1971; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and John Smith of Arcanum, Ohio, and Christine and Paul Roska of Saint Cloud, Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father.

There will be a service held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with David Barnette officiating. Burial will follow. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
