Rebecca Irene Ruhl Snyder, 74, of Villa Rica, Ga., formerly of Moline, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at her home after an extended illness.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica from 10 to 11 a.m. today. Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. According to the family's wishes, her body was cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Rebecca Snyder, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
She was born Feb. 21, 1941, in Dante, S.D., the daughter of the late Edward W. Ruhl and the late Anastasia C. Mazourek Ruhl. She retired as a senior investment broker with A.G. Edwards and Sons. She was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Snyder was a wonderful cook and enjoyed hosting parties. She loved to sew and was wonderful at decorating. She served as the treasurer of the Villa Rica Garden Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Andrew Snyder; sister, Clarice Berry; and brothers, Eldon Ruhl, Donald "Bud" Ruhl and John Ruhl.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anastasia "Stacy" and Michael Glover, Villa Rica; sisters and a brother-in-law, Joan and Robert Kocmick and Ruth LaMusga; brother, William "Bill" Ruhl; sister-in-law, Sharon Ruhl; two grandchildren, Katie Glover and Jacob Glover; and several nieces and nephews.
