William L. "Bill" Beasley, III, 59, died Friday.
Funeral service Wednesday, 2:30 p.m., at St. James United Methodist Church in Tarboro with Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro.
Mr. Beasley was a graduate of Duke University and a member of the Iron Dukes. He was a successful attorney, lumber company president and insurance salesman. He was also a former member of the Nash County School Board. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather who loved Duke Basketball and spending time with his family. He was well loved and will be dearly missed.
Survivors: daughters, Amanda Campbell Beasley of Rocky Mount and Macon Beasley Fritsch and husband, Bryan of Alcoa, TN; son, William Lee Beasley, IV and wife, Virginia Elaine of Fuquay-Varina; sister, Susan FayeHill of Erwin; grandchildren, Brooke Taylor Beasley, Avery Campbell Fritsch, Abigail Taylor Fritsch, and Benjamin David Fritsch.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Nash-Edgecombe Mental Health Center, 500 Nash Medical Arts Mall, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
