EAST MOLINE — Glenda Sue Reeves, 65, of East Moline, passed away June 13, 2019, at Illini Restorative Care Center in Silvis.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Quad Cities Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
Glenda was born March 12, 1954, in Harlan, Ky., the daughter of Lawrence and Minnie Meyers Kelley. She married Ronald R. Reeves in 1974 in Moline. Glenda worked as a CNA at Aspen Rehabilitation and Health care in Silvis and Rosewood Care Center in Moline. She enjoyed watching soap operas and court TV, fishing, swimming and outdoor sports. She especially loved family time.
Survivors include her mother, Minnie Thomas; daughter, Heather Reeves; son, Ronald W. (Beth) Reeves; three grandchildren; sister Sandy (Vernon) Woods; and brothers, Larry R. and Lawrence D. Kelley; the love of her life, Ronald R. Reeves.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Kelley, and stepfather, Wayne C. Thomas.
