Ruth Arabelle Adams, age 82 years, of Juniata Township, Newport, enter into eternal rest at the Carolyn-Croxton Slane Rsidence, in Harrisburg.
She was the daughter of Frank and Alice (Reeder) Reapsome of Newport.
She had worked for the Newport Dress Factory; was a member of the Eternal Methodist Church, Newport; and enjoyed gardening, baking and crafts.
She was the widow of G. Merle Adams.
Surviving are a son, Dale Wayne Adams of Newport; daughters, Betty Lou Wagner of New Bloomfield, Donna Lee Wagenseller of York Haven and Susan Gail Swenson of New Bloomfield; a sister, Carrie Kline of Newport; grandchildren, Katherine Smeal of Camp Hill, Brian Smith of Shillington, Jeffery and Anthony Pizzoli of Harrisburg, Hope, Adam and Arielle Swenson of New Bloomfield, and Nathan Wagner and Brandi Adams, both of Newport; and great-grandchildren, Samatha and Nicholas Smeal of Camp Hill.
She was preceded in death by daughters, Joyce Louise Smith, and Ruth Ann Adams; brothers, John and Ray Reapsome; and a sister Alice Pearl Campbell.
Funeral services were held at David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with burial at Newport Cemetery.
