John E. Webb, age 83 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, October 1st, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. Born July 3, 1936, he was the son of the late Herbert and Mary Webb.
John worked as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife, Lana Kate Webb; two sons: Mark Webb of Warsaw, Dewayne Webb of Independence, one step son: Wallace Ingram Jr; one daughter: Lynne C. Webb of Warsaw; two step daughters: Sallie Ingram of Warsaw and Vonda Aldridge of Cincinnati; one brother: Donnie Webb of Burlington and two sisters: Edith Webb of Burlington and Laura Beasley also of Burlington. Thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 4th, from 5pm until 8pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5th, at the Consolidated Second Baptist Church in Warsaw beginning at 1pm.
