Ronald L. Holt, age 67, of Lindstrom passed away on September 30, 2019. Ron was born on September 18, 1952 to parents, LeRoy and Jean Holt. He grew up in Chisago City and attended the Chisago School, from grades 1-11. His class was the first to graduate from the newly merged Chisago Lakes High School in 1970. Then, he attended college and became a CPA.
Ron married Bonita Sovick in 1988 and they resided in Lindstrom. Ron continued to work as a CPA in the Chisago Lakes Area for over 40 years. Although Ron was dedicated to and found great joy in his work, his family was his priority. He loved to attend sporting events and fine arts activities of his children. It was easy to identify when this proud father was present, as he was heard above all. He also enjoyed fishing trips to Lake of the Woods and spending time with friends.
He is preceded in death by parents LeRoy and Jean Holt; and sister Peggy Seaman. He is survived by his wife Bonita; children Ryan and Karen; siblings Michael (Jan) Holt, Connie (Tim) Christensen as well as nieces and nephews.
