Beloved Son of: Robert C & Mary Jane (Johnson) Kirby
Beloved Husband of: Lettie Florence McGee
AKA: Joseph Calhoun Kirby
It is believed that Joseph joined the service in 1917. He went to boot camp in AZ. He was allowed to remain stateside because he was invaluable to the Military as a Machinist. He was stationed in Rockford, Winnebago, IL. at a Munitions Depot. (As told to me by Joseph James Kirby.)
