“Bobbie” Barbara Crowell passed away at Tucker Hospice House on September 26, 2019.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm Monday, September 30, 2019, at Wilkinson Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held next month.
Bobbie was born to Carl H. and Carolyn Fisher Sloop on September 25, 1955. She was born, raised, and spent her life in Cabarrus County. She loved her family. Once she became a stay-at-home homemaker she prided herself on helping to raise the children in her family including her nieces, nephew, grands and she loved seeing her great grands. She also had a heart for animals.
Bobbie leaves behind her daughter, Tina McClester Pender and husband William of Lincolnton; son, Brian H. McLester of Concord; Companion of twenty years, Rupert "Rick" Stevens Jr. of the home; sisters, Brenda Rowland, Lucy Gray, and Linda Sloop; brothers, Carl Sloop and Harold Sloop; grandchildren, Nick Rice, Allison Turner, and Kyle McLester; and great grandchildren. Chase Nicholas Rice and Kinnley Rae Turner.
