Nancy Sue Scoggins Kirkland, 80, of Memphis, Tennessee. She was born March 17 ,1939 in Proctor, Arkansas to Robert and Lillian Scoggins. Mrs. Kirkland passed away on September 28, 2019 and is waiting on the Life Giver. She was a longtime Memphis resident. Mrs. Kirkland worked for W.B. Tanner and ran her own answering service for many years. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, J.M. Kirkland; two children, Cynthia Gail Sweet, Joseph Walter Kirkland, both of Memphis; two sisters, Jane Lillian Hardin of Corinth, MS, Bobbie Moore of Columbia, TN and a host of grandchildren. Mr. Kirkland was preceded in death by her parents and two children, David Michael Kirkland, Amy Jean Smith. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Edmondson Cemetery in Southaven, MS.
