Jimmy Neal Hicks, the son of the late William “Pinky” and Clarcy Price Hicks, was born on February 26, 1948, in Gideon, MO.

On February 10, 1967, in Gideon, MO, he was united in marriage to Linda Kirkland. She preceded him in death on July 1, 2006.

Mr. Hicks died September 28, 2019, in Cape Girardeau, MO, at the age of 71 years.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Kimberly House of Paragould, AR and Kerrie Davis and husband, Richard of Bernie, MO; 3 sisters, Linda Wadlington, Sharon Holder and Carolyn Hicks; 4 brothers, Billy Hicks, Larry Hicks, Ronnie Hicks and Michael Hicks; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter, Sarah Davis and 2 brothers, Jerry Hicks and Claude Hicks.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at 1:30 P.M. at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 P.M., in the chapel, with Pastor Ricky Taylor. Burial will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO.
