Walter was born on December 7, 1922 in his Vedder Mountain home and lived in the area all his life.
Walter served in the army during WWII which took him to many places including Holland. He worked for Clayburn Brick Co. for most of his working life. One of Walters greatest interests was Gardening.
He is survived by his wife Nola, his three children; Paul, Ross and June, his six grandchildren; Nita, Gabriella, Evelyn, Kyle, Michaela and David, and one great-grandchild; Ethan.
