Yolanda Alease Lee departed this life September 26th 2019 3pm at Albany Medical Center.

She was born on January 8, 1956 in Albany New York to the late Randall E. Booker and Freddell Lee.

Yolanda was raised and educated in the Albany School System. Yolanda was a 1973 Graduate of the Philip Schuyler High School where she received an Academic Scholarship to the University of Denver. Yolanda completed and received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from Russell Sage College, in Albany New York. Yolanda later on received her Masters of Science in Public Administration from Russell Sage College.

Yolanda was a faithful member in good standing of the Eighth Tabernacle Beth-El Temple in Albany New York, where she served faithfully as a Sister Elder. Yolanda had a passion and love to Preach and Teach the Gospel and she was very grateful to exercise these gifts in her Church and Community.

Yolanda worked for the New York State and Professional Development Research Foundation for 21 years she also held various jobs throughout her life such as, New York State Office for the Aging Long-term Care, American Heart Association, New York State Education Department, Saint Catherine's Center and Service for Youth, CDHS Education and Training Department and in her final days she served as a Consultant for many Private Organizations.

Not only was Yolanda an Excellent Scholar, she was also very active in her community. Yolanda was a part of Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta, Corporation National Service Learning and Character Education, MC Lawton Civic and Cultural Club Incorporated, NAACP, New York State Association for Women in Administration, National Association for Colored Women's Club Incorporated, The Empire State Federation of Women.

Yolanda formed many relationships throughout her life and was loved by all who knew her. Yolanda had a heart of gold and would help anyone in their time of need. Yolanda's latest dream was to start a food pantry in her church to help the homeless and the less fortunate.

She leaves a Legacy of Love to be Cherished by her Brother Sheldon E Lee, Nieces: Latia A. Lee and Brianna N. Jager. One Nephew Sheldon S. Lee, her Aunts: Patty and Emma, her Uncle Kenny, her very close cousins: Timothy, Bruce, Keelyn and Kelly Young, her cousin Jeffrey Crank, Godmother Virginia Young, and two very special Sister Friends Pastor Kimberly C Hall and Arlene Marable along with a host of other aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Yolanda was predeceased in death by her Grandmother Alease Lee.
