Born October 16, 1937 in New Castle, he was the son of James T. and Hazel Mae (Stoops) Aiken.
Mr. Aiken served his country in the U.S. Army. Because of his love for mechanics he was a member of Doctor of Motors and worked as a mechanic for Herr’s, drove truck for Eazor and was also a self-employed mechanic.
He was active in the Society of Automotive Engineers and a 2005 and 2006 member of A.B.A.T.E. Motorcycle Club (Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education.) He taught boat safety with the US Power Squadron and was a member of the Castlewood Rod and Gun Club. He was of Protestant faith.
Buck is survived by his companion, Shirley Parshall of New Castle; one brother, Merle R. Aiken of South Amherst, Ohio; four sisters, Mildred (Roy) Magee of Harmony, PA, Linda (Ron) McCombs of Hubbard, Ohio, Norma (Bob) Shaffer of Leesburg, Florida, and Marilyn (Jerry) Workman of New Castle; and his loving dog, Lily Mae.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Robert and David Aiken.
Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
