Fruitport Twp. Mrs. Judy A. Hopkins, age 67, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at her home. She was born in Muskegon on February 5, 1941 to Richard J. and Dorothy L. (Bathe) White. She married Ronald R. Hopkins in Muskegon on February 19, 1971. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Survivors include her beloved husband, Ronald; 5 children, Cheryl (Terry) Daniels, Millard (Kathy) Miller, Renee Kendall, Robin Kiggins and Ronald Hopkins II; 2 sisters, Sharon (Gary) DeLange of Sparta, MI and Janet (Ron) Chapman of Muskegon; 2 special brothers, Larry White of Jenison, MI and Terry (Jenny) White of Delta, OH; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and her dear lifelong friend, Janet Finneman. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-parents, Carl Lundquist and Eva Stults and 2 sisters, Beverly Sparks and Dawn Schroeder. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, 1:00 PM at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 4475 Henry St., Rev. Mark E. Zimmerman officiating. VISITATION will be today 6-8 PM at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. [Norton Shores, MI] (231) 798-1100 and one hour prior to the service at the church. She will be laid to rest in Fruitport Cemetery. MEMORIALS: St. Mark Lutheran Church or Harbor Hospice.
