In 1900, their children were: Helen G., 18, working as a clerk. Mattie was 16, and not attending school; the rest of the children were at school, and may have been taught by Martin I. Zeller, a live-in servant and teacher, who was born in Iowa. At school were: Mary U., 14; Thomas 13; Effie J. 16; John J.8, Ruth M. 7.
In 1930, she and her husband, Joseph, were living at 6303 Wirt Street in Omaha, Nebraska. The children were gone, and she and Joseph were both 70 years old.
