Prisoner of War (formerly No. 6 Army Air Support Control Signal Section, 3rd Indian Corps Signals).
-Captured during the Battle of Singapore. Transported to Java in October 1942. Died as a prisoner of war at Batu Lingtang camp, Kuching, Sarawak on 17 June 1945.
-Originally buried at Batu Lintang prisoner of war camp cemetery, his remains were reinterred on 15 September 1946 at Labuan War Cemetery, Malaysia.
