Julia Morgan, 78 years old, of San Diego, passed away on February 7, 2016. She was born in Cavite City, Philippines on October 1, 1937.
Julia had a long career with Skychefs, an airlines catering company. During her free time, Julia was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Her passions in life were spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren, cooking, gardening, and crocheting. When time allowed, she liked watching classic movies of Elvis Presley, Chuck Norris, and the Lawrence Welk music show.
Julia will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; Helen Camintigue, Emili Paña, Robert Hannah, Julie Edging, Jennifer Porter, Ronald Hannah, and Alan Morgan. Her legacy includes her 20 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life & visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, Rose Chapel, at 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California, 91910, on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Thursday, February 11, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., a chapel service will be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, 1515 Elder Avenue, San Diego, California 92154. Immediately following the prayer service, interment will be at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
