Funeral services for Charlotte Bennett of Winona will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, at Kilmichael Baptist Church in Kilmichael, with burial following in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael. Dr. David Sartin and Rev. Don Smith will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Quinton Poyner, Valen Poyner, Collin Bennett, Cody Bennett, Don Bennett, and Parker Goodson.
Visitation will be Friday, October 4, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Kilmichael Baptist Church; and Saturday, October 5, from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at the church.
Mrs. Bennett, 66, died at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora on Sunday, September 29, 2019. She was born in Indiana on September 29, 1953, to David and June Henn Miller. She was a former Deputy Court Clerk for the City of Winona and a member of Kilmichael Baptist Church in Kilmichael.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband, Larry Bennett of Winona; daughter, Cyndi Poyner (Brian) of Sequin, Texas; son, Richard Schneider of Sequin, Texas; sisters, Karen Nobles of Paragould, Arkansas, Kathy George of Paragould, Arkansas, and Brenda Gwynn (Dwight) of Robstown, Texas; brother, Roger Miller (Donna) of Pflugerville, Texas; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
